Week 6 ♥ Noodles, Necklaces, Night

Our 6th week of school has been full of fun with activites, crafts and songs about the letter "N"!

We had a lot of fun with NOODLES!!

We painted noodles!

We made noodle necklaces!

We even played with noodles at our sensory table!

 Our craft tomorrow will be a letter "N" with nighttime decorations. Don't forget to wear BLUE tomorrow! :)

The Home for Your Heart "Give-Back" event will be on October 3rd at Roca Bar North ALL DAY! Feel free to make copies of the coupon flyer sent home in your child's binder earlier this week to share with your friends and family. By presenting the coupon flyer anytime October 3rd when placing a take-out order or dining in HFYH will receive 10% back.

A few reminders:

• We LOVE to spend our recess time on the playground! Please send a light jacket or hoodie to school if the weather is a bit chilly. :)
• Please return library books INSIDE the classroom on WEDNESDAYS so that we can check them in and your child can check out a new book on Thursdays!
• Wear BLUE to school tomorrow! :)

NEXT WEEK:

• We will be learning about the letter "Z", the number "6" and the color YELLOW.
• Our DINOSAUR unit begins!!!!
• Our bible verse will be: "Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, O Lord." Psalm 97:8
• Wear YELLOW to school next Thursday.
• Our Happy Camper of the Week will be Ty Pohl. :)

Week 5 ♥ All about "M"

First of all, we MUSTACHE you a question.....

Reminders for this week:

• Please please please clean out your child's binder EVERY day! :)
• Tomorrow is our Fall Family Picnic at 11:00am! Don't forget to bring a lunch for yourself and your child. If the weather is too rainy we will have it inside the gym. If you are unable to attend please pack a lunch for your kiddo so that they may eat with us.
• Wear PINK or a Mickey/Minnie Mouse shirt tomorrow!! ♥

Next week:

• We will be learning all about the letter "N", the diamond/rhombus shape, the number "5".
• Please bring your library books into our classroom with their binders on Wednesdays. There is a bin labelled "library books" by the teachers' desk for them. This will help us locate everyone's much easier! Thank you!!
• Our bible verse is "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
• Wear BLUE to school next THURSDAY!
• We will be finishing up our unit about "feelings".

We are also excited to welcome a new student to our classroom this week! Thank you for sharing your children with us. We feel so blessed to teach each and every one of them. ♥

Week 4 ~ REVIEW!!

Week 4 ~ This week we have been reviewing EVERYTHING we have been learning about since the first day of school! We are getting used to our routine, singing songs and using rhythm sticks during music class, checking books out during library class and learning all about GOD during chapel. Ask your child what GOD said when he began creating and you should hear these three important words......"LET THERE BE"!

Last week we had a ton of fun learning all about "W"s!!! Here are a few pics from our wacky week:

 We surprised the kids with a very fun snack of "watermelon fries" after library class on Thursday!

Our letter craft was a worm this week. Aren't they adorable? :)

NEXT WEEK:

• We will be learning about the letter "M", number 4 and the color PINK.
• Wear PINK on Thursday!!!
• Our new unit will be all about our "feelings".

• Fall Family Picnic on THURSDAY~Don't forget to bring a blanket and lunch for your family! :)
• Library books may be returned to the labeled crate inside our classroom no later than WEDNESDAYS so your child can check out a new book on Thursdays.
• We will be sending home MANY crafts that we have been creating. Please check and clean out your child's binder daily!

Week 3 ♥ Wackiness!!

Week 3 has been a ton of wacky, wild and wonderful fun!!

Here's a little peak into our week of Ws:

NEXT WEEK:

• Our happy camper of the week will be Harper Jenkins!
• It is our review week. We will be reviewing our first three letters A, V, W. Reviewing the numbers 1, 2, 3. We will also be finishing up our farm animal unit!
• Library books are always due on WEDNESDAYS! Please return your child's library book so they can check out a new book at library class on Thursdays.
• Please turn in your $1 water cup money if you have not already.
• Your child works very hard on their worksheets and art work! Please clean out their binders daily and ask them to tell you about what they have made! :)
• September tuition is due! Preschool half day tuition is $100 per month.
